Sunday School at WHBC is for all ages with the goal to teach God's Word, that no matter what your age, you can know, understand, and apply what you have learned about God and His Word.  We have classes for every age with teachers dedicated to serving God faithfully through their ministry. 

WHBC offers Children's Church to school-aged children, ages 4 through 6th grade, during the Adult Morning Service.  WHBC understands its responsibility to love, nurture, and teach God's Word faithfully through Bible lessons, songs, and activities to the young ones who attend. 

Every year our church has a one-week summer Vacation Bible Program for children ages 4yrs old thru 6th Grade.  It is a wonderful opportunity to reach our local and surrounding communities with children for the gospel of Jesus Christ through Bible Lessons, games, crafts, songs, Bible verses, and much more!

Youth for Truth 

Every Wednesday night from 6:00 to 7:30pm. 

For ages Pre-K to Grade 6.

For those in 7th-12th grade, we have Sunday School and Wednesday Night Youth programs.  Throughout the year, the youth have opportunities to participate in church activities such as Vacation Bible School, Christmas plays, Choir, Missions trips, and more! There are also fun events and activities planned throughout the year to engage and encourage the teens such as: progressive dinners, camping, hiking trips, a Youth-Led Service Night, firepit get-togethers (always with food), and end-of-summer fireworks.

Singles, Young Marrieds, and College Students are the next generation of leaders in our local churches. 

 Bright Lights young ladies group is geared towards young ladies in highschool and college thru the age of 26. It's main focus is to encourage young ladies as they grow and mature in their life and walk with the Lord. Bible Study, games, food, and fellowship are all part of the time spent together. The group meets the fourth Friday of each month from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. If you are interested in attending, please contact the church for more information.

The Music Ministry of West Hampden Baptist Church is solely dedicated to godly, intentional, worshipful music that focuses our hearts and minds on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is with that focus in mind that we worship the Lord through congregational singing, choir arrangements, special music, cantatas, plays, and more.

Prayer for Prodigals was started to meet the growing desire of mothers to take a specific day and pray for our children and their walk with the Lord. The group meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM. All women are welcome. We look forward to praying with you. 

 Ladies, young and old, have many opportunities to serve and fellowship at WHBC. The church offers a Ladies' Bible Study that meets the first Monday of each month followed by a time of fellowship around the table at a local restaurant.

Some other events include: Ladies' Luncheons, Bridal and baby showers, Thanksgiving Day basket and food box distribution, Secret Sisters program, Annual Christmas Party, and much more. Some ladies bless others by making homemade cards, and some make quilt squares that are made into a quilt for a new baby.  No matter the event, the ladies at WHBC always have a wonderful time of fellowship around God's Word and with each other.

 There are many opportunities for men to minister and be ministered to at WHBC. Every month there is a Men's Prayer Breakfast. The men fellowship around the table with good food, a time of Bible Study, and prayer. It is a great time for the men to come together and encourage one another in their walk with the Lord.   Throughout the year, various projects, activities, and functions give men the opportunity at WHBC to use the skills God has given them to further the work of the Lord. 

 The Senior Saints Ministry at West Hampden Baptist Church is open to anyone 60 years of age and up.  It's purpose is to encourage the heart, provide assistance where needed, and offer opportunities through Bible Studies, fellowship, and special events. 

There are opportunities for the Senior Saint at WHBC with monthly Ladies' Bible Study, Men's Prayer Breakfasts, Senior Saints Sunday Luncheon, Fall Foliage Leaf-Peeping Tour, and much more!  You do not need to be a member of our church to participate or come to an event of the Senior Saints Ministry.
